dchope
I feed my two Greyhounds (Ages 9 and 10) Iams (Blue bag) for dogs over 9 yrs of age. Lot of "poops" but solid. Any suggestions of a dog food (kibble) that would be good for them and keep their poop solid?
Hubcitypam
Iams was the only thing that my Rex could eat that produced poop that I could scoop vs. hose in. It's the beet pulp in it that regulates the water in the intestines. My other guys did fine on Purina One and Pro Plan. None did well on Blue Buffalo (and that includes non-greys) - it was just to rich for them.
ramonaghan
We feed the Fromm Classic Adult food in the purple bag. It also contains beet pulp. Only downside is that it can be hard to find locally depending on where you live, so you might have to order from gofromm.com or petflow.com.
