Guest lynne893
Just adding to others to say how sorry I am. You must be devastated. What a strange medical mystery. Please know we're all here for you -- the Remembrance forum on this site helped me get through two very difficult losses of my dear hounds. Godspeed. Guest PhillyPups
I am so very sorry for your loss. This happened with my first, my Runner, the picture of health. We were at a M&G at Tony Stewart's hospitality tent at International Speedway. Runner was happy, a fabulous ambassadog, greeting everyone, he was leaning on me, I was scratching his ears and he just went straight over, never even bent his knees. As I share this I can still hear the thud as he hit the ground. He took a part of my heart and soul with him. It was two weeks before his 8th birthday. My only consolation has been he was with me doing what he loved most. Had we not been there, I probably would have been in the complex laundry room and he would have been alone. The pain is always there, I do not know why, and don't question it, however, for years I second guessed myself wondering what I missed, I miss him still. Guest Fasave
My heart sank reading your story. I am so sorry for the loss of Henry. He is family in a way because my Thunder (aka Blunder Thunder) is Henry's half brother. He too is a Clappin Thunder child. My Thunder will be 8 in September. It is so hard to say goodbye. We will be thinking of you and your family.
