As you run with the wind send a caress to wipe our tears.Gone but never forgotten. Loved forever. Run free with those who have gone before you. Greet all those that will follow. Diamond Chubby, the schnauzer Mercedes Martha, the pit bull Zelda Fletcher Bert Adam Henry Heidi Gilmore Corey, the fluffy tail mix Sahara Charlotte Grace Jack Merlin, the kitty Jazzy Sadi They'll always be with us, just slightly beyond the point that we can see with our eyes. In our heart, though, they'll be seen loud and clear, as they always were. Sambuca Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Could you add Martha, the pit bull. She was adopted at 10.5 and had health issues. She dies at around 12 or 13. She was supposedly dog aggressive, but I have her a chance with my boys and she absolutely loved them. She stayed the weekend and followed them around like a puppy. She was the sweetest thing. Ironically I was looking through his Greytalk page & his last race was June 19, 2003. I appreciate it very much. He would run up to them and rub against their muzzle as soon as they walked in the door. Sometimes when I post it here, it just seems more painful, for me & for others who have lost a pup. Bless his heart, he was 13 and although he was healthy, I think old age said its time. Ironically June 19th 2003 was his last racing date at Southland also. I wish I could remember what the date was that I took him home. I know it was also in June, but I think it was in 2004. The other ironic thing, his birthday was June 1st and that was the day I got Jimmy, who is also fawn. It was like Jack made sure I got someone to fill my heart with love because he was going to leave me in a few days. They do that you know.
