"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." -- Unknown

Thank you, and greetings from Durham, represent NC!

Sophie is doing great adjusting to her new home. She has been with us for about 2 weeks, and both my girlfriend and I her are learning a lot. Her only problems are the open-backed staircase outside our apartment (she does fine on solid steps that aren't open-backed), and she wakes up whining in her crate between 2-4 AM every night. Just so I don't dwell on the few problems, Sophie is a wonderful girl. She is such a sweetheart and loves people, lounging, and her walks.

Rosie is a Wheaten Terrier Mix that we adopted and gets along swimmingly with Sophie, as you probably picked up on through the pictures.

:wave Hi and welcome to GT and the wonderful, magical world of greyhounds.

I love the pictures, you have quite an eye for photography. :)

I love the area you live in, I go to Raleigh frequently, and am in love with it down there.

Sophie is so beautiful...I have a soft spot for red females. So glad to hear she's settling in well. It sure looks like Rosie enjoys her new companion too!

If you want some of the pictures you posted here to go on GD I or some others that have access to do so, will do that for you. I/we can also add something to the comment section for you if you want. Sometimes people add, Sophie was adopted on XXXX and is now living in her forever home with XXXX XXXX, but, you can add anything you want.
