It finally dawned on me why, today would have been Frankie's 12th birtday. I miss him so much. He was my rock; the one I'd hug and cry into his fur when life got overwhelming; I could really use you here with me right now, my sweet boy. I love you, always; and I hope you are doing OK up there. I will see you again, when it's time; then I can share carrot cake with you again on your birthday and make you wear a silly hat... damn it hurts so much... We were at a pet fair and there was an HP booth offering free photos of people and their dogs, printed while you waited. I never did anything with the photos, just put them in a drawer because although Frank was handsome as always, let's just say they were less than flattering images of me... They're now framed and displayed; funny how one's perception changes when you would give anything for one more pet fair, one more walk, one more picture....
