Need Advice

Oh, my gosh, I'm just seeing this. Poor baby. Thankfully it was no worse, though the wound sounds plenty bad. Good thoughts for a quick and uneventful recovery.

I'm home with him now. He seems to be handling the tramadol fine. He's a bit dopey but isn't whining or pacing. He got up to see me when I got home then went back to his bed to sleep. Poor boy looks so sore to walk, I can tell his body is aching. Hopefully he will feel better soon.

If he's that sore he may need the Metacam (of course with your vets blessing). Tramadol works really well with a NSAID like Metacam.
