KingsMom
Quick update tonight... still no nose bleed and I sure hope it will stay that way! The nose bleed was off and on for 40 hours and now it has been off for 55 hours! No news from the specialist today so I should hear something about the tick panel tomorrow. He's certainly back to his normal self, he has finished his dinner and is staring down his sister to see if she is going walk away from hers... Will update again tomorrow evening, hopefully with more info! Thank you all again for your continued thoughts and prayers! KingsMom
More good news. All test results are back except for the Von Willebrands. Everything is normal including the tick panel. Hopefully we will have those last results tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I'll update when we know for sure. Thank you all for your continued good thoughts and prayers for my boy, I'm sure they've made a difference in his recovery! He's sleeping on the couch next to me and I'm so glad to have him there. KingsMom
Well no news on the Von Willebrands today, hopefully we'll have it Monday. If that comes back negative we could be looking at not knowing why the nosebleed happened for so long to start with. That will be scary but at least he's still here and not bleeding! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It really helps a lot. I'll update when we know more and let everyone know what we find. juliemac
I'm so sorry about the waiting, but glad to hear King is doing better and that the results so far are looking good. Hoping for a definitive answer to the source of the problem soon! Prayers and white light still coming your way!
Guest bigorangedog
Glad his nosebleed has not come back!! 6 or 7 years ago one of our guys had a nosebleed. He had a big overbite, and it turned out that his lower canine teeth had punched a hole through his upper palate into his nasal cavity. It healed up, but it sure was scary until we knew what happened. Hopefully it was just one of those weird things for King and he will be good from now on!! KingsMom
Well King's Von Willebrands results came back at 91% which is in normal range. His BP was normal at the vet this morning so that's good news too. With the way things are we are going to wait and see if he has any more nose bleeds. So for now we don't have a root cause but we're hoping that it was a fluke and it wont happen again. Thank you all very much for your thoughts and prayers for us and my heart boy. I'm certain it has helped all of us!
