Guest Tatum Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Hi everyone, We let Tatum go on Friday morning. Unfortunately she was in some pain that the meds wouldn't even help by then. It all went pretty smoothly and then we went to the casino to try and get through the day. (FYI: it didn't help much) I want to thank everyone that has posted all the advice and well wishes in the 3 weeks that I have been dealing with her cancer. Thank heavens you had all the information for me about the pain meds. Even my vet learned something there! I also passed on to him the Ohio State university information and the VanAndel information. I spent all day yesterday creating a fitting memorial to her. She was our first grey and I probably have saved a couple hundred pictures! I know everyone here understands how photogentic these dogs are! Here is my youtube video link - be sure to turn your speakers on. I was fighting tears the whole time, partly because that's who I am and partly because I didn't want to miss anything. Which I guess is my little tiny tribute to Tatum and to you. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
