Guest Lakota
Hi Everyone, I've made some posts already, so I thought it might be time to introduce myself. My name is Marlene and in March 2010 and adopted Lakota. She has adapted wonderfully to being a princess (I mean pet ) We live in mid-town Toronto, where Lakota gets to many dog parks and has so many canine and human friends. I'm not sure what else to say, so, if there is anything y'all would like to know, just ask. Now, I've heard that there are rules and photo's are a requirement, so here we are: This is my first greyhound Ceasar (pic taken in 1969): Now for the princess Lakota Drive: On the ride home from the kennel. Frightened little girl, first night home Lounging in the park this summer One of her frequent playmates Just cause I love the way her ears look here This looks like they are plotting to over throw the universe

Guest Lakota
She is adorable Have you had greys for 40 years? Thanks, I am fond of her. Ceasar was our dog when I was a little girl. After he passed, we had mutts. We were living in Fort William (now part of Thunder Bay, Ontario) at that time, and I don't suppose it was really all that easy to get a greyhound. Mom said they had to drive to Winnipeg to get him (about a 8 hours drive with today's road; so it must have been a really long drive back then). Guest Lakota
I love the pic of your first Grey! Was he a blue? Did he race? FABULOUS photo! Yes, he was a blue. He never race, mom got him as a puppy, and I don't know what his lineage is. That stuff was not important to mom, she was bringing home a pet.
