We'd been through hell and high water together, and he was always there by my side, my protector. He waited to leave this Earth until he "passed me on" to my current husband, who he deemed my new "Protector" - its like he felt like it was ok to go Home because Mommy had a wonderful soulmate who would look out for her just like he did. My husband is kind, gentle, quiet and just a wonderful soul, just like Niles was. I love you, Niles, and I miss you......you will always be my Protector...
