Batmom
Be aware Temaril P has a bit of steroid in it so you may see some extra drinking and need to go out more often. The topical spray is awesome. Sending more scritchies 'cause Vinny is too cute for words. Guest FrostyBottoms
Thanks Jey, yes he warned me about that too. He said it won't be enough to where Vinny will be drinking from the toilets and trying to find water anywhere he can, but he may increase. Guest FrostyBottoms
I really can't believe how well the meds are working! He only licked for a little while after he took it, and NOTHING for hours now. That's after only 1 dose. I am happy for my itchy boy! Now I feel like a bad mommy! I should have taken him in a week ago. Thanks for all your well wishes!
Guest SoulsMom
Wow Jeannie, I'm just seeing this. I'm so glad the meds are working! Archi (tard) had the same issue when we lived in Oklahoma. . . .he had to go for monthly allergy shots. Once we moved to Texas, and away from the bermuda grass, it all cleared up. Guest Greensleeves
I was just going to say Temaril-P! It's been a miracle drug for Flint, and we ESPECIALLY notice improvement in itchy feet. I know there's one dog on GT, though, that couldn't tolerate it at all--the steroid made him crazy.

Guest smarthound
Bruce has foot alergy problems also. Our vet suggested rinsing his feet regularly in a weak betadyne solution. When Vinnie's feet are better, this might help as a preventive method.
Guest FrostyBottoms
Well, it only makes sense that Bruce, Vinny's twin, would have the same problem. Thanks Jan! Where do I get betadyne at?
Guest smarthound
Well, it only makes sense that Bruce, Vinny's twin, would have the same problem. Thanks Jan! Where do I get betadyne at? I thought you would appreciate the irony. Drugstores carry betadyne in the first aid section. It's usually on the lower shelves. You need to dilute it in water until it's the color of weak tea. Or about the color of Vinny and Bruce. I hope it helps!
