MaryJane Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 If your pup is on antibiotics check with your vet about whether he should be on yogurt or probiotics to help reinstate the normal bacteria in his system. Our visit was over $300.00 and now the culture comes back negative! The plan is to finish the antibiotics and then go back for another U/A to check for sugar. He was 3+ on the sugar and 3+ on protein. I guess I am wondering now if I can buy "human" test strips at the pharmacy and check his urine myself?????
