Guest bellenzo
Enzo was diagnosed with OS last year and was put to sleep in November. ( I had a post in remembrance at that time.) A few weeks ago I received an email from a friend that they saw a drawing of Enzo on a Carpe Canem charity auction. So I went to look and sure enough it was Enzo, drawn by an artist who was inspired by a picture of Enzo in a Greyhound calendar. (When I first had Enzo, he was photographed by a professional photographer who regularly submits to the dog calendars. He's been in Browntrout and Avonside calendars several times.) Anyway, it was quite a surprise when I saw him staring back at me, beautifully rendered in colored pencil. Of course, I had to place a bid since I know he expected me to, and I won. It arrived yesterday, and here it is. Enzo (Damage Down) 2001-2008-- The artist captured his intelligence and soul beautifully.
