Guest hannahmom Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 Hannah is moving with less discomfort, and she actually slept most of the way through the night ( without waking us up crying in pain like she has been since Monday ) She's still off her food , but I think that's the Tramadol - she HATES the taste, and the pain is still there, just lessened. The inflammation should be mostly gone by Monday, and we are home all weekend with Miss Monkey and her brother, so hopefully, the worst is past. Guest VirginiaGreys Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 Dodge couldn't stand the taste of Tramadol and it made him not want to eat (the higher the dose we gave)...which we didn't know would happen. I'd rather give him something other than tramadol...but so far we've been lucky...no need for more pain meds. I hope Hannah will start feeling better soon. Dodge sends nose kisses! I wonder if it could be depressing her appetite or just making her feel odd so that she can't contemplate eating? Really hope Hannah-babe starts to improve. I don't think it did much for her pain, although she didn't seem stoned. I hope Hannah feels better and regains her appetite soon. Bless his heart he never got off his food, but he seemed like he didn't feel good & would turn & look at his stomach. The other nite I used it for my back (didn't help) and I felt a little nauseated, but not a lot. I read the instructions & it said if it makes you sick, to take with food...like bread.
