Guest chubbster
I'm not sure if this is okay to post here or not. A special gift to us from dear sweet Dan, a fellow adopter. Two weeks to the day after Phoenix went to the bridge, I was getting out of my car at work. The church bells were playing "Danny Boy". I used to sing that to get him to roo. Keep sending us signs sweet boy.

My blog about grief The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Fiona3
What a truly lovely tribute to beautiful Phoenix. He was so loved by you and your family and I know how much you miss him. As I finished reading your post and watching the video, I walked into the kitchen and heard "Danny Boy" playing on the classical station. I bet Phoenix is sending smiles to everyone who loves greyhounds and reads about him. He was so very special and brave. dex95lucy
Judy, I viewed the tribute here, though I watched it on the GAA site. Yes, I cried again. And I will cry the next time I watch it. But I also laugh and smile as I think of Adam with him. How is Adam doing now? He is such a sensitive young man, and this was a rough age to lose his best friend. Looking forward to seeing you soon. hugs, sue and Bessie PS- Maxine is anxious to see your family again, too.
