We know what it is like now to lose a beloved grey so suddenly, but not immediately after another's passing. I just recently lost one to cancer in February who was barely 6 yrs old. I keep waiting for the feel stronger feeling, but it hasn't come yet. (that which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger-Steel Magnolias) There are so many friends here on Greytalk that have huge ears & strong shoulders & will listen to our painful cries. I am so sorry for your loss, please take comfort in knowing that where she is, she's whole again...napping on huge fluffy clouds & enjoying a no pain life. You describe it correctly when you say shell-shocked. At least you have some comfort in knowing they're waiting for you and are in good company. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
