Guest karneval Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Hi all! My name is Shelby, and my Grandparents and I are the new owners of two Grey puppies. And, yeah - puppies. It's a long story, but to make it short: a trainer at the track here didn't seperate a female that was in heat, and that resulted in an accidental litter. My entire family has loved greyhounds for years and years, and we couldn't pass up this oppurtunity. My Grandpa is a vet, and my Grandma is home all day with nothing to do. I'm homeschooled. Anyway, we have two wonderful 8-week-old handfuls, Jada and Kyla. Jada is black with some white, and Kyla is white and brindle. I also share my home with a cat, three rats, three gerbils, a hamster, two mice, and a betta. Now for pictures! Jada: Her leg was broken when she wandered into a whelping box. She's just about healed now, but the cast is staying on for another week because they're pretty rough with each other, and they've already learned how to jump onto the couch and the chairs, so. Kyla: First case of ETS: Doing what they do best: The rest of their litter (six puppies, two others were adopted out in my area) has been shipped to New Jersey, though I'm not sure to where exactly. As far as I know, they'll be put up for adoption, too. So, uhm, that's all. Hi. Oh, and what are the rules for posting pictures in places other than here? Do I have to have a certain number of posts? We go to Birmingham once a year for a veterinary convention, and I have an aunt who lives there, so we usually visit her, too. I already love GT. I've been lurking around since I found out the puppies were born. (February 29th!) I was pretty amazed at first; I had no idea so many people loved greyhounds so much. I'm really glad I found GT. We live in West Mobile. We don't go to Gulf Shores very much, because I have an aunt that lives in Pensacola, so we usually go there instead.
