Hi,

My name is Miran(da) and I'm from the southern part of the Netherlands.

Found this forum some time ago and got the time to register us, only now.

We have 5 spanish "trashdogs" and one Belgium dachshund.

Pictures are to be found on our website, still the most in Dutch, but still busy to translate all in English and German.

One of our dogs is a Spanish Galgo, so actually also a grey, but then the spanish version.

Who wants to know more, ask.... happy to answer the questions.

and here's a picture (one of the first we took) when we just got her...

Her name is Aidah (meaning; the visitor or the returning)

This is my Alpha Ashley.... She is a Ibizan hound (also known as Podenco Ibicenco)

Our little girl Gaia. She is a pharaohound and found in Spain as a 5week old puppy.

Then the boys....

Pancho mix with Podenco Andaluz and (we think) Thai Ridgeback

Manrique, our other Ibizan. They cut his ears, to be able to recognise him as "my dog"

and last but not least our dachshund Willow.... He is nearly nine yrs now...

Oh, be still my heart!!! You have beautiful dogs!

Missing my sweet girl Scout. My snuggler, my chow-hound, my kissy girl.
It never thunders at the Bridge, and your food bowl is ALWAYS filled.

So strange not living in Atty World. I was a love struck handmaiden to your every whim.

Welcome & great pix!! I love your Ibizans!! I had a friend with one - such a sweetie!

And all your other pups are gorgeous too! (I'd love to have a galgo - but they're not easy to come by in the US!)

What does that mean? Who did that?

His former owner... who was a Spanish hunter. He went for a holiday and left his dogs without food and water in a shed.

So rescue organisations in Spain have freed those unfortunate dogs after 14 days.

He is one of them.

Manrique is app 6 years old.

Aidah and Ashley are 3 yrs old

Pancho is about 2,5 yrs now

Willow is almost 9 yrs and our "babygirl" Gaia is 20 months.

So not exactly puppies anymore, but still young.

And all your other pups are gorgeous too! (I'd love to have a galgo - but they're not easy to come by in the US!)

Oh yes you can... here you have a link ;)http://www.scoobymedina.com/links_nl.htm There some American foundations too.....

And about the collar.... Handmade in Holland. She already has a new one with her name on it. And so have the others.

(I'm a little crazy, they all have 3 of more collars...... :blush )
