I agree with the above , we lost our Maggie yesterday to this its better to be early than late.

Just got back from the vet , our Maggie is now with the LORD in a place where the Lion lies with the Lamb=HEAVEN=we will see her again. A while back I posted about putting her and Andy to sleep together and burying them together and every agreed it would be ok even we wanted too but when it came down to it this morning I changed my mind Andy will stay until his time. For 11 years Maggie slept besides me and lied on the couch next to me she was like one of my children , now we have to worry about Andy as they were mates for 11 years , this really hurts.Dan&Sharon

Get some RED STAR PRIMARY YEAST and sprinkle it on there food works for cats also , get it at a health food store , it works for ours , or call our store in Paduach KY and ask them if they ship 270-442-0999 cost about 10.00 for about a lb.

We lost our Larry the 105 lb Fun POLICE 2-3-06 still miss him every day.

What a reunion it will be.

Our Greys have there own van all the rear seats are removed and there are beds back there so there is no problem bringing them together and the vet teck would not rush us , now the problem is it is taking over my mind I cant stop checking on them , it could be thisafter noon or a month from now---Thank you everyone its helping us to make the decision , but still I look in there eyes and want to back out , I,m too involved in them they are a big part of my life. We are now down to 4 greys , mainly becuase we are old , two of the Greys are both 12 now and in bad health , Andy has lung cancer bad and what looks like skin cancer on his lip , Maggie has liver problems , wont eat unless hand fed then only eats half , she has lost a lot of weight and is looking starved , she falls a lot now and needs help getting up on the couch where she has spent her 10 years here next to me ,you have no idea how hard this is on us there our children , I know there both dieing together and time could be very short so what has been going threw my head is when one has to be euthinized becuase I wont let them suffer should I have them both done together and buried together in the same grave -- we dug it last week-- I,m thinking that becuase they do everything together ,or would you wait the short period between and let the one left to suffer the loss of there life long mate , please think before replying. Yes they have both been to the vet a lot.

So sorry for your loss , we have GREYS MAGNETIC 8-98 SO i,M SURE they played together as pups.

Its like a growth about the thickness of a dime , the size of a eraser.

Nothing after 8 that includes going out in public and near other dogs , they stay in the house and fenced in yard.

I know how you feel we have two 12 year olds that are having problems , we have lost a lot of Greys over the last 11 years and we have found the end comes very fast , we have also found that digging a grave after there death is very hard , so this time we - last week - dug a long grave so it would hold them both end to end with a piece of wood to separate them , they have always done everything together , it is now covered in our very large yard.

My Andy now 12 has just developed a small red sore on his upper lip it is dark red does not bleed or leak fluid ,cutting it off is not a option , I would not trust putting him under because of his breathing after a short run.

The nails are too long and should not have holes in the center of the nail get a dremel and grind the nails flat across the bottom.
