I use Acti Flex 4000. It is an equine application but I use it for my hounds as well. There is a k-9 version out now. I have had great success with the equine version though so I stick with it. I get it from here. http://www.horsemenstackinc.com/

I can't believe it has been a year Judy. Seems like yesterday and hurts just as bad too. Happy Birthday beautiful angels. We miss you both. for you, Mike and Kevin.

Tracey if Pearl has a little upset stomach from her kidney disease, Parmesan cheese sprinkled on her food always does it for her. Antibiotics are a different story, but the cheese is worth a try. Good luck.

So Kristin.........what the heck kind of maters you growing there girl? I don't like maters but if they are good enough for your dogs to get in a dust up over I might have to try some. Just trying to make you laugh. Glad everybody is going to be o.k. and kudos to Sheila for jumping in to give you a hand when you needed her. Dog fights are scary and even worse when it is your own dogs. Take care, you handled things well.

Marion I have not that happen personally, but I do feel very strongly it could happen. We lost Kia in March of 2008. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine all three of my original hounds would be gone by March of 2009, leaving my spook Pearl by herself if we didn't get another hound. A dear friend and savior of my sanity pointed me toward a sweet little female she had in her kennel who was nearing the end of her racing career. I drove down to Alabama in September of 2008 to bring her home. Bones left us in December 2008, Future in March 2009. We have just Pearl and Tru now while we wait for Cracker to finish up his racing / stud careers. I don't know if Pearl would have made it through without Tru being here. I know we would not have. Hugs to you. I know this is breaking your heart to see Soldi like this as you yourself still grieve for Ivy. I don't know if another dog is possible for you, but it would be the one thing I would try for Soldi.
