    Aang & Traveler

Rest well little one. Heather is right your Momma didn't mean to hurt you. I am so sorry Heather and Ken. I can't imagine the sense of loss you feel. Know I am thinking of you.
  3. We've heard some horror stories about using Advantix on greyhounds. I know at least one vet that will not recommend Advantix for dogs when the family also has cats. Flea and Tick treatment is a personal decision, based on what is best for your dog, your household and your area of the country. All medical treatment and advice should always come from your Vet and not the internet. Agreed! I should have added that. Flea/tick prevention is not as simple as the OP makes it sound. Ditto that. Starting with the Lyme vaccine. No thanks, not for my dogs. I did it once and Future had such a nasty reaction to it I have never done it again. That was 10 years ago.
  4. Oh Clare!! Rest well Maggie. You have been a part of GT for so long, we will never be the same without you.
  5. Dee maybe knocked off line. It is getting quite windy here and we are expecting thunder storms. Dee did tell me Lass is spending the night at the vet tonight.

Well said Hilda. Rest well little baby boy. You're momma didn't mean to hurt you. It's not for us to know why you were called back home so soon, just that you were. You are loved baby dog.
  8. Oh no Lynn. Rest well you wonderful old man. You will be sorely missed around here.
  9. Awwwww Fiona looks great Mary. So glad she is back to her normal self.
  10. Janet that might be Acti -Flex 4000? I give it to my dogs and they have always done well on it. Tracey was asking about using a human supplement she already has on hand. I have tried that too and found my dogs do better on the Acti - Flex. Not cheap Tracey, but I get it here. http://www.horsemenstackinc.com/site/conte...geVar=greyhound I just want to add that Glucosamine helps my old bones / joints, but I can't tolerate it.
  11. Seems like yesterday, I can't believe it has been 3 years already. to you.
  12. Oh Shirley. I am so sorry. :grouphug
  13. I am so sorry for your loss. My two Thoroughbred boys are buried side by side in their paddock here. They died 6 weeks apart to the day in 2003 at 22 and 28 years of age. They were inseparable for 12 years. I understand.
  14. What Heather (KennelMom) said. No pressing urgency to have him done. I would wait until he was at least a year old, but I like 18 months better.
  15. Rest well Sasha. You sure did prove them wrong! I am sorry for your loss Jonathan, but I know Sasha had a wonderful life with you.

    Julio

I was wondering how you are doing today Rachel. Yep, it does suck. Feel free to come here and vent any time. We have all been there. For some people it helps to talk about it, others not so much. If it helps you to talk about Julio, we are happy to listen.
