  1. Huston wants a date with Sadie. He was very hungry and I fed him small amounts. He got me up at 3 a.m. dancing and play bowing, etc. because he wanted to eat. He did great!
  2. He is home. Had some water a little kibble and he is resting.

Sending my sympathy I know how hard it is
  4. I just dropped him off at the vet. He has an abcessed tooth and has been on antibiotics for 10 days before vet would even touch it. I feel bad of course, and worried. Not sure what caused it (does one ever know?). He had a dental in February.
  5. How embarrassing!!! See items at the end of the Greys Landing auction
  6. Anne: I am sending sympathy and hugs. I know how much he means to you
  7. Actually, multiple turds Dot will eat the Honest Kitchen Zeel (the fish one I cannot afford) and also Preference to which I add meat. For the last 48 hours she has produced turds after a long time without a good stool (and I've done everything except ask the vet for the sulfa drug). Here's hoping it continues
  8. sending my sympathy What a sweet picture of him and your daughter
  9. This morning, Huston of all dogs, was loose. I stopped the JH two days ago I think. Let's see if he is ok by this evening, or just may be a virus and not the JH at all!
  10. I highly recommend the Fresh Factors but after the last two weeks I'm not sure about the Joint Health. Both Isaac and Mizzy got sick. Huston -- no change. I've stopped the JH and returning it for Fresh Factors. I'll just add Whole Foods MSM. Changes and improvements: much easier moving for them and not so achy. The majority of the people who have not seen improvement are not using enough chondroitin. In all the dogs I've tried it on, I've seen no further improvement when glucosamine is added. If you are now confused, I'm sorry

  18. Received the new order yesterday. You can now break the Joint Health with your hands And, I still have to mix them with canned food A hammer work well with the old ones I put them in a ziploc and hammer away.....
  19. I guess I'm getting weak. I cannot break them, therefore, I cannot use the mortar & pedestal on them. One of the things on my list is a smaller hammer....
  20. I doubt chewing kibble does anything for their teeth. They do not have digestive enzymes in their mouths like humans, so there is no need to chew.
  21. Ducky called them when she got her first batch and they said "they were working on it". I find it silly that every morning I start out with a hammer and supplements I hammer them and mix them in with the food. Checked with acupuncture vet and she said the added ingredient is fine. I guess hammering is still easier than giving three separate supplements. Call them. I wonder if enough of us call, they will either take out the added ingredient and offer it separately, or find a way to make them not so hard!
  22. How much blood? Is it really bleeding, or oozing slightly? Tony's had to be packed.
  23. Valley Fever isn't a tick borne disease. It's fungal and specific to the southwest and California. Unless you know for sure where he raced and trained, one should test for it. Sending lots of prayers.
