  1. I missed this thread earlier but glad the surgery went well and hoping for clean margins!
  2. Poor guy, I am so sorry this happened!
  3. Jen, I am so sorry. I wish I could offer something besides support and hugs.
  4. I think the new adopters will probably get a good laugh out of it - but hopefully it will show up in the morning poop before you hand the foster over.
  5. Welcome Home! I love his spotty tail, too cute!
  6. He is breath-takingly handsome! Welcome Home!
  7. I love Xan's chants - I am joining in. Hoping it is just a soft tissue something that is easily healed.
  8. Poor sweet girl, I hope she recovers quickly and feels better!
  9. Sweet faced girl, I know you will be missed.
  10. Iceman is usually very slow coming out of anesthesia and he will skip a few meals afterwards. I would call, but don't be too concerned. I hope she perks back up soon!
  11. Poor guy, I hope he feels better soon!
  12. Mia has been on 5mg of pred every other day for over a year now. She started at 50mg almost 2.5 years ago, we brought her down slowly and at one point she was on both pred and imuran. She does have a very thin silky coat, we usually put jammies on her in the winter time. Unfortunately in her case every time we try to take her completely off of the pred, she flares back up, so we have accepted that she will probably have to take it for the rest of her life. I know it can cause problems with long term use, but it is a hard decision to make when we are thinking about long term pred usage vs. possibly losing her without it.
  13. She is so beautiful! And I KNOW how exciting it is waiting for your hound to come off of the hauler! Congrats to all of you!
  14. The damp cloth is great advice, I wouldn't have thought of that! I CAN tell you that happy "ears" can be just as spattery, I STILL have blood on the ceiling in my entry way because I don't have a ladder high enough to reach it!
  15. Sending lots of good thoughts for Star, I hope she feels better!
