    Aljo On A Safari

What a beautiful tribute. Safari was very beautiful and very much loved
  2. Do you use photobucket? I save pics to photobucket, then post them by clicking on the small photo icon, then pasting the URL into the blank space. If that doesn't work, you can email them to me at robin_w@rogers.com and I'll post them for you.
  3. I would probably chip in because I would feel bad about what happened. The IG owner probably didn't know much about dogs and others in the playgroup should have stopped her from entering. I think everybody was at fault but it could have been lack of knowledge, also.
  4. Loca used to lick her paws like that every year, always the same time of year. We decided it was due to seasonal allergies. She responded very well to benedryl.
  5. He was so cute. He sired two of Treasure's litters.

    Flying Lynch

I'm so sorry for your loss. He ws very special
  7. Robbie, I think of Iberia often
  8. Once a saluki joined the local greyhound playgroup and the greyhounds were awful! They knocked around that poor dog like she was a toy. After that I would never, ever allow a non-greyhound to join a playgroup. It would probably be best if the owner was asked to leave.
  9. Last year at Dewey people I had never even met commented on his weight, or lack of it. Sometimes it was addressed to me directly, but mostly it was said within earshot. I felt that the implication was that I didn't take care of Phoenix. I do.
  10. Yikes!! Ollie's in my thoughts and I'm looking forward to reading a positive update.
  11. Phoenix was treated for babesia with Imizol seven years ago. He had many symptoms, including muscle waste. He's always been thin and it seems impossible to put any weight on him. He's healthy and my vet isn't concerned. Could this be due to the babesia? I'm trying to prepare for the "he's so thin" comments that I'll hear at Dewey .
  12. Great pictures, and it's always nice to see Jabari. Hoping for good news about Legs soon.
  13. Wow, how scary! I'm so glad that everybody is ok now. Thanks for the warning. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Hotline is wonderful and is a lifesaver. I had to use it several times with Loca. Definitely worth every penny.
