  1. That gorgeous hunk used to run at Gulf, as did his sister, Lauren's Lola. I don't remember the kennel. He ran for the Lingles. My Lucius did too. In fact, he ran against my Lucius's littermates a few times. Both boys are well-socialized, friendly, energetic, happy boys. All the Lngle dogs I have met have been awesome. He is a sweetie...and way less energetic than Argos. He has been following us around a good bit and playing outside some so far.
  2. Aww, thanks for the welcome guys. Buddy is settling in some more. He would be super easy to fail with...but no more boys!
  3. He is soo pretty. My Df is falling in love already and I said no...no more males! I live in a testosterone tower as it is!
  4. I wanted to post some pictures of Buddy, aka Ez Duz It Buddy. Buddy is a happy, outgoing, energetic, extremely playful greyhound. He's 5 years old and acts like a puppy! He's shown too much interest in my birds so we've had to close off the bird room but other than that he's a good boy. I imagine he'll get a forever home super fast! Out in the yard Inside...that face! Buddy Thanks for looking.
  5. Well, good to know she isn't totally alone! I've never had this problem with any of my dals before. How old was he when he started it? This is recent for her.
  6. Well then, and extra special welcome to Nova's best friend! My Lucius loves Nova.
  7. Welcome from South Carolina! You'll learn a lot here. And the number one rule....you must post pictures!
  8. Ok, I'm not sure if this should go in off-topic or not, so if it needs to move, Mods, feel free. And sorry if it is in the wrong place. Lucky Girl, my Dalmatian, is an older girl. We don't know exactly how old as she came from the shelter...all we know is that the woman who surrendered her "had papers and lost them" and "swears she is 2 years old." Ha. The vet puts her at 5-6, but I've had dalmatians my entire life and she acts like an older one. Anyways... ...she's only going to the bathroom once a day. When she does it is good and normal just a LARGE amount. She seems to get all her pee and poo out at one time. She gets turned out with and without the boys several times a day. Sometimes she won't even get off the porch. We have tried leash walking her, tried letting her in the yard...tried differant locations. Nothing. It seems she likes to hold it. Which just can't be comfortable! Vet says there is nothing wrong with her, that's she's "quirky." But I think something is up... Any suggestions or ideas? oh....we've ruled out kidney stones...which Dals are prone to....
  9. I am so, so sorry! Run free Festus.
  10. ok...he's had good stool. He's not thrown up again. Hopefully it was just the grass. I'm sending DF out there with a weed eater because they only graze off the tall fence line pieces. Thanks for advice everybody! aww, thanks! Prayers and good wishes go a long way!
  11. Do you know if that little white and brindle is a boy or girl? Is the one next to the black white and blue?
  12. ..I am very tempted to try and get one of those ones sent here for DF. That's why I asked color.
  13. If I could get one to SC I'd take one. Seriously. And pay for another for somebody. I have no earthy idea how to get one down here though! Could they fly? Like, if people in the US wanted them could they be shipped if paid for? Or is there restrictions from Canada to US? To get Argos from Spain was easier than getting a person to Spain. Im not sure... maybe go on the US customs/border crossing website and see.... let us know if you find out From US/Canada customs So, for the 3 month old puppies...vet visit to ensure healthiness and plane ticket. Now that's where it can get pricey! Northwest has a price of $260 for shipping an animal alone. So, let's say a vet visit for wellness is $60...$420 to get a puppy into the US. (other airlines I am sure differ) and the kindness of a friend taking the pup with money western unioned or however money travels. Paypal even. This is assuming, of course, that the puppy is less than 20 lbs! The price jumps $20 for the next bracket. A flight can be arranged at east 24 hours in advance, at most 10 days in advance. I am checking Delta now, as that is what Argos came over on. (and...asking what color these other puppies are!) ETA: Delta is cheaper. From Canada $217.35. Oh, and cost of kennel. Forgot that. Puppy size will determine the cost of that. So...what color are these other puppies?? And gender?
  14. Ok...so he's 55 lbs...any idea how much ml would change? I figured the grass was what was making it worse. I correct him when I see it but I know he's managed to grab some... On the bright side...he just pooped and it was firm and good.
  15. Ok, Thanks! I'll have to go buy pepto bismol...and if he does it again I will def. call the vet!
  16. Argos keeps eating grass then throwing it back up. Both last night and tonight. It just started last night. When he threw up it was green bile type with grass strands in it. What can I give him to calm the stomach? Generally my boys have thrown up once and been done with it...but this morning was his third time. And he's whining when he twists around to get comfy. One short, sharp whine. I used to know what to give him but it has completly slipped my sleep-deprived mind so please forgive the dumb question!
  17. Welcome from South Carolina! Beautiful pups! I have a thing for brindles and cow dogs too! (red brindle and blue fawn brindle Greyhounds and a cow doggies Galgo)
