  1. Ducky, I'm just so sad for Leela and for you. Her transformation from horribly emaciated to happy (that second photo speaks volumes) happened thanks to wonderful groups like the Senior Sighthound Sanctuary and fosters and adopters like you. I am so glad that Leela got to live her last months at the House of Duck. She couldn't have landed in a better home. I wish so much that you'd had more time together.
  2. Willa I sob emotionally like a loser everytime I see her bouncing around like a champ Same shoulder as Pippin. Mere weeks apart. Completely different outcome. I am so so happy for you all, and especially for your beautiful girl. It's so lovely to see her so full of life! <--- happy tears! GO WILLA!
  3. Oh noes, I missed the party! Happy belated Gotcha Day AnnIE & Punkin!
  4. So glad to read that Willa is doing so well! She's a fighter, that one! And your heart must have been so joyful when you saw the return of the Willa Waggles!! I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, but I've been thinking of you of all as you navigate the first week post-amp. Rest in peace, handsome Richard
  5. Willa I'm so pleased to hear that her surgery went well and I literally started crying when I read that she is better after her first night and that you can pick her up today. So so relieved. I'm sorry I wasn't backandforfing yesterday, what with the drive to pick up nooboi.
  6. I was backnforfing yesterday but was crazy busy and didn't get home until 10PM. So glad to read that things look good for surgery. Fingers crossed. Thinking of Richard and hoping he continues to do well and be himself for as long as possible. Willa's waggy tail! Sending love and strength for the days ahead.
  7. Just wanted to send some more hugs. Good luck on Tuesday. So glad you have insurance for Willa.

  9. I don't know how I missed this. What ghastly, ghastly news. I am just speechless. Absolutely hate osteo with every fibre of my being. Rachel, I'm sobbing as I read this. I am so terribly, terribly sorry.
  10. Oh my, what a dreamy long snoot And what acrobatics! Is there anything she can't do?
  11. I said this exact thing out loud, and then scrolled down and saw your post! It's bad enough that I'm finding little ants crawling on me all the time because of all the rain... at least they're not disgusting, almost unkillable, disease-spreading TICKS. This makes perfect sense in light of the fact that I have found ticks on me even when I've walked near vegetation, and not in it or through it. Revolting. I imagine them just sitting there waiting and then leaping. The stuff of NIGHTMARES
  12. It looks so lovely up there, Jan, I'm going to have to visit soon. How are the black flies right now?
  13. Oh, what a very lovely sight. My Pippin loved sniffing flowers so much. I was always asking him to get your schnoz out of there, you'll get covered in ticks But he loved it (and paid no attention to any of my unreasonable requests anyway )
