It does take time and work, sweetie, to turn off that loop in your brain. I've been there, too, and I promise it will get better. You can and will soon have only the best BEST BEST memories of Otis in you; only the best. He knew you did all you could, and you did do all you could, and that will sink in with time. My Talica had runny poop all the time, for many months, and the only kibble that finally firmed her poop up was Nature's Variety Prairie-style kibble. It firmed up somewhat with home-cooked Dr. Fox's food ( http://tinyurl.com/3dscql ) as well, but the best poops were created with a combo of Nature's Variety in the morning and Dr. Fox's home-cooked food in the evening.
