  1. I'd go for the cheap, high calorie food right now. At her age, let her eat what she wants.
  2. I'm so sorry. Run pain free sweet Buzz..............
  3. Hopefully everything will go well Amanda. My friends over in Mesa have a dog that had VF & she did very well. And I'm walking proof that VF is treatable. I had the disease in 2000. I do agree that the treatment stinks. Makes you feel terrible. Sending hugs..........
  4. To me it almost sounds like he may have some vision issues & possibly his back is hurting him? When Nevada hesitates to jump on my bed, I know that she is hurting.
  5. I bet Jax feels better than you do..............
  6. She has lots of GH angels sitting on her shoulder............
  7. Nevada was on Tramadol 50 mg every 12 hours when she hurt her back. She weighs 56 pounds.
  8. Sorry that your time together was so short. She knew that she was loved! Hugs......
  9. Holy Cow!! He looks fantastic! You must be so pleased............Give him a big hug for me!! I'm soooooo happy for you...........Hugs!! Carol
  10. I think that he looks great. Looks like he gets pretty tired easily which is understandable.
  11. I also recommend the ACTH stimulation test to confirm Cushings. My nearly 15 year GH has Cushings & is currently doing very well on Mitotane. Things will never be exactly normal again, but it is a treatable disease. The initial induction therapy with Mitotane can be a little scary. Be sure your Vet is in close contact with you & you'll do fine. Nevada had all the symptoms you described & did have hair loss. Her hair is now back, but seems heavier than before. She still looks for cool places, but here in AZ we all do that during the summer. Good luck to you. PM me if you'd like to.......Carol
  12. Alan looks pretty happy in his cabana. Sending good thoughts your way.
  13. You know, I was thinking about amputation also as a last resort. I wonder if that is ever considered?
  14. Wow! Although it's difficult to watch, I find it very hopeful. Alan still seems interested in his world & seems to be motivated. I think that he looks remarkably good. He just needs time to figure things out & get back to a normal home routine. Remember, this is all confusing to him. Hang in there...........by the way your DH looks to be a great therapist!
  15. I can't find her update...........what is her OP?
