No eating or drinking = no pee, no poop. Don't worry too much yet. Maybe chicken noodle soup or vanilla Ensure for the menu tonight? And remember, if she was in pain she won't want to eat.
-
You might try some warm chicken soup. My Vet suggested it when Nevada wasn't eating well & it semed to stimulate her appetite. I think the frequent small meals is a good plan. Her tummy may be "off" due to the anesthesia and the other meds.

She might be feeling a little disoriented with the pain meds, thus causing the whimpering etc. Hopefully that will settle down soon. Is she eating anything?

Fantastic news!

It sounds like things are very much under control & she is doing well. Your Vet & Techs sound fantastic! Prayers for you all and special ones for the Vet to guide them thru her treatments. Get some rest for sure......she will be keeping you very busy at home before you know it!! XXOO

I'd suggest Desitin also.

She is so sweet looking. She looks just like my Miss Nevada when she was a young gal.......

Sounds like a mild head injury. She got her bell rung! Best to have it checked out at your regular Vet.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jefferson it's just such a devastating disease .
Pain meds are helping her for now but I can see that sometimes she just isn't herself . I can see it in her eyes .I just hope when the time comes I have the strength to get though it I still can't believe it ....
You will be amazed at how strong you can become because of the love you have for Jeanie. I know, I've been there. When we promise them that they will not suffer, you will keep your promise.

Nevada had her one and only dental at age 12. I was lucky in that she had exceptionally beautiful teeth. The Vet was amazed & said she really didn't need it until then. She did well with the anesthesia.

I adopted Nevada as a puppy who was happy & healthy. She developed Cushings disease at the age of 13. She lived to be 15 years & 7 months old. She required very expensive meds & lab work to diagnose and control the cushings disease. Sadly, the disease eventually won.

There is also Pet Health Pharmacy here in Arizona. They are on-line and ship to anywhere in the USA.

Sounds like normal senior hound syndrome to me. You might consider putting down more carpets on slippery areas as a precaution. Hopefully you can avoid the slips and falls that might be coming.

Did your pup ever race in Arizona? If so, has the Vet considered Valley Fever?
