  1. I use skin so soft diluted- sprayed onto a paper towel and then wiped on them. Chloe HATES bugs.

    Quiet Man

I am so sorry for your loss or Quiet Man. He will be missed by many.
  6. I wish everyone could see what Elsei is like. Picture a rambunctous 2 year ols greyhound who has settled in and becomes even more playful and rambunctious. She is something else. THe picture of her on the website prior to adoption said " almost 10- but thinks she's 2". That in itself describes this nut. Sweet nut- but never the less-- a nut! Vet tomorrow- we will choose surgery date and I will update. Thanks all.
  7. I haven't been on and just saw this. I am so glad things seem to be turning around. BTW- I didn't knoiw Soul had IBD.
  8. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

  10. I know your pain and I am so sorry for your loss.
  11. I received a really nice email from Elsie's old owners. They are so concerned about her. She was one of their favorites. She ran her little hiney off - 115 races and then produced really "good" track pups. Her owner said to me that just 30 minutes ago she sent the best pups she had to the track- ALL Elsies. They are praying along with us. I keep telling Elsie so many people are rooooting for her and she just keeps smiling at me and wags her tail.
  12. Dr. Jonathan Dyce is one of the best at at OSU.
  13. I think she has 5. However I will find out for sure on Saturday and update. Thank you everyone. I hate having to put her through this...
  14. We have been waiting patiently to hear what Dr. Couto said about the tumors that Elsie has. "........he agreed that the next step is to remove all other visible tumors and send them out for histopathology. If margins are clear on all, then adjunct chemo should not be necessary and we'll just have to do chest xrays every few months to stay on top of her. Let's re-check her on Sat. and decide when is the best time for surgery." So, we made an appointment for Saturday and from there we will schedule her surgeries and pray they are all clean. Let the chants begin. My happy, happy, happy girl.. please let her be OK.
  15. Oy- she looks like Beau did before we got his IBD under control and now Beau looks like a sausage becasue the pred wastes muscle and his weight is redistributed. Anyway- greyt news. Hopefully with the diagnosis and treatment she will be feeling better soon. 2 pounds may be a bit much-(?) in the beginning not losing weight is a small victory- anything above that is wonderful. She is is greyt hands and I look forward to her progress.
  16. My vet had the same problem (communication) with Vilar so we did the chemo on our own with OSU protocol which is listed on their website.
  17. He IS beautiful! Congrats. Loose poops are probably nerves. You can add a dollop of pumpkin-REAL canned pumpkin by Libbys- not sweeetened. Can he sleep with you in your room with a baby gate up? I betcha that makes all the difference in the world! Best of luck and WELCOME!
  18. Oh please let it be nothing.
  19. Such a very hard thing to see them go through. My heart breaks for you. You and only you will know it's time. Hugs to you both.
  20. My Teddy has a nekkid butt and chest and probably always will!
