    Sigh. I am so sorry.
  5. Polli too is a 9 year olf brood momma. The only reason they are not breeding her anymore is that she has a "dropped hind quarters". I was told this by the farm she came by. Her gait is bit off at times but otherwise she is OK. She walks with the pack 3-4 x a day. 3/4 mile each time. If she looks off, she walks less. Missing link is greyt but there is not enough glucosmine to make a difference. There are many other supplements including pure glucosomine that you can get through www.greyhoundgang.com ALL proceeds go to the hounds.
  6. Yup, 2 is fine. I can even give Polli 2 at her weight of 57 pounds. hope he is better soon.
  7. I don't think that a visit a week ago would result in a nervous stomach all week. I could chalk it up to him being "off" and if it continues, bring him in for quick check. hope he's feeling better.
  8. Hi Andrea. I'm glad you decided to ask this question here. I too had thought about going to NGAP, but I decided to have my local grey savvy vet do it for my 4.
  9. The only time I have seen this was on Beau when he injured himself and he was freaked. Don't know.
  10. Yes, I agree. I would have it looked at. Please update.
  11. Oh what a pretty baby, I am so sorry for your loss.
  12. There's just never enough time, no matter how much time we have. I am so sorry.
  13. Prob just an upset tummy. Glad to hear.
  14. Can you get a picture of it and post it? the first thing I thought of was something was irritating his underside, but the ring has me questioning it further.
  15. I agree with EmilyAnne. I wouldn't give the immodium until I knew what it was that was causing it, especially if it's more than a one day event.
  16. He's a smart boy. Tripoding is something my Beau does too, when his leg is bothering him. That's a good thing! He'll know when it's time to walk on it again. hugs to Darryl.
  17. Yup, I feel your pain. I have 4 hounds with 4 different leg/disk/limp issues.
  18. Now that we know that Teddy has a buldging disk, the vet said we could start holistic treatment if we wanted to. I had asked on GT whether he should have acupunture or chiropractic therapy and the answer was to have both. It's 2 different docs in 2 different locations so I want to make sure we going about this in the right way. Which would we have done first?
  19. I know schnay means White in yiddish or Hebrew, don't remember, zahav means GOLD, anyone know what red is?
  20. This is just so unfair. I am so so sorry.
  21. I use Petrodex but all the C.E.T. products are excelent. i'm assuming it's the same site as the CET chews and rinses etc. Doc Freeman turned me on to the CET products. GOOD STUFF!
  22. No advice as I have an ongoing issue with my 9 year old... just lots of hugs to both of you. I FEEL YOUR FRUSTRATION. www.sitstay.com Here is the site to order the tripe. I just took a truck load of a delivery yesterday. Polli LOOOOOOOVED it the 1st time she tired it, whether or not this will continue... we shall see. My girl likes the lamb but not the beef, but she doesn't like beef to begin with. Weird.
