  4. I'm so sorry for them Jayne. Prayers, indeed.
  5. You said the vet saw them correct??? If they saw the vet recently, I would ask the vet if it were OK to give them 1 (ONE) pepcid in the morning, prior to eating. That will usually stop the rumbly tummies. Definitely keep them away from the poop. Clean it up in your yard as soon as they go so they can't get to it and make sure they don;t get other dogs poop. All my dogs have formed by yucky poop becasue of the supplememts we give, we deal with that. I know you can add in a small amount of CANNED PUMPKIN. NOT THE PIE FILLING! MAKE SURE IT'S NOT THE FILLING FOR PIE, as that is sweetened. This will help firm up the poops. No more than ONE tablespoon mixed in becasue too much will cause loose ® poops. They'll love it too! It's definitely not normal to be throwing up often.
  6. Your baby is beautiful. I feel your vet was very inaccurate and totally wrong unless there is something he knows you don't! For someone who has greys I'm surprised he said something so ignorant. As far as insensitivity, that's another story. MANY people on GT have seniors who don't even know they are seniors. Come to think of it, I'm one of them. My Polli, age 9, mom to my Beau is one of the pack,. Infact, when given the chance to run and play SHE will run with Chloe and Teddy (younger) while her son, Beau (age 3.5) pees on every bush. Given the chance to run or pee on new bushes, the peeing wins fro Beau. Polli is picky with eating, but from what her ex-owner told me, she has been from birth. Enjoy your boy. I hope you have many more years together! Robin
  7. I have never done anything but moisten food!
  8. I am so sorry. God Speed Flecka.
  9. I have a 3 day rule for limping. If, after 3 days the limp is still present, for piece of mind we go to the vet. I make the appointment the day the limp starts for 3 days out and I will cancel if necessary. More times than not, it's just a "limp".
  10. Hugs and prayers for you and your baby.
  11. OMG, you must have been scared to death. So glad all is OK.
  12. I am so sorry for your loss. Her description fits my Polli (AKA firecracker) to a "T". Run Free sweet Sally.

  20. I have been taking Teddy for acupuncture for the last 5 weeks. I WAS told that they sometimes get worse before they get better. Teddy has shown better mobility in his neck, he is not holding his paws up aymore and his gait is a bit better. The first time we went she only used a few needles for a few minutes. Have you called this ver and let them know how your dog is? I would take easy with the meds. there is a holistic herbal called Trumeel. It is for humans but good for dogs too. It is supposed to be used sublingually, but that is near to impossible with the dogs. So, you put it in a little yogert or cottage cheese, peanute butter, something they have to lick, not swallow. It is an antiimflammatory. You can find it cheap online. http://www.myvitanet.com/traum.html Go with the tabs. 1 tab 2-3 times a day.
