I saw that picture too! I thought it was a greyhound too. I just looked him up on imdb.com and it says he has an Australian Cattle dog named Garcia. No mention of a greyhound.

I'm sorry, I didn't see your post to respond to it. I visited Mimi at the vet on Friday, she was confused and a little dazed, but otherwise looked good. She's staying at Cathie and Bill's kennel until tomorrow morning, when they will bring her to the adoption kennel. We're going to pick her up around 8 when they open.

Mi Ami is being vetted tomorrow. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

And hopefully she will be ready to come home on December 11!! Hooray!

Hewwo! My name is Mimosa Grove. Did you hear what I'm getting for Christmas? A SISTER!!! Her name is Mi Ami. She is also called Mimi. She is 3 years old, which means I get a big sister. She is shy though, so I think I will still be in charge! Isn't she pretty? A nice lady named Mama Caffie brought her to my house. I tried to play with my new sister, but she was a little too shy. I didn't say anything before because of what happened, but I won the raffle of a beautiful original framed drawing of Wyco Osage by Sherry Cramer to raise funds for Wyco Neosho's vet bill for GPA - Springfield, MO. Osage is Neosho's sister. It was bittersweet winning the drawing, but I will display it proudly in my home in Neosho's honor. It is a beautiful picture.

It's funny how people are different (or maybe I'm just different). Buckwheat died on May 21st. The vet called that he was back about 5 days later. I'm still not ready to go pick up his ashes. I guess I will get him tomorrow because I have appointments for my cats. I don't know, I feel like it's closing the door, the final goodbye....

I am so sorry for your loss. I had to say goodbye to my Buckwheat (Lab/Boxer mix) on May 22 so I know what you're going thru. I miss him terribly. We're getting a new dog (grey) soon and that helps, but there is no replacement.
