  2. Bic is out of surgery and waking up. The Dr replaced the tendons with this surgery. Depending on how Bic does he may need more surgery. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
  3. I'm still waiting to hear from the Dr's office on how Bic is doing. Dr Hay in Tampa is doing the surgery.
  4. My foster Bic has a very bad break in his hock that he is having surgery on today. The foot is a mess. The break happened Oct 4, 2007. Please send him prayers as he is a very nice boy and already has a forever home. He just needs to make it thru the surgery. I believe he has a wonderful life ahead of him with a very loving family. Of course I am very worried about his surgery.

  16. Trish, Get Peatie started on the Pred. tomorrow. We have used that so many times with the sick and old dogs and it's like giving them a jump start.

  18. Good work Carrier and Good work Eva. Remember every now and then he might forget his leg is missing. Expect a few nose dives. He will pick himself up and carry on. The next few weeks will be harder on you than on him. Hugs and kisses for Carrier. Eva, try to rest up.
  19. I would say he was having a bad day so probably spoke his real feelings. It is time to look for another vet but, do not burn your bridges at that vet.
