He's a bully, tolerates Sassy and the rest of the world, which he thinks he rules.} Hi Becky - I have a tortoiseshell short hair who sounds very similar - except she does NOT tolerate the rest of the world!! Only me! {I am a retired nurse, love birds, wild animals (the kind with fur, just to clarify ) and nature.} I love birds & wildlife too - do you ever get to the wildlife refuges near you? I know someone who works at one of them. If you're ever in the DC area & you like to bird, let me know ahead of time - I'd love to take you out birding!! (I volunteer at the local wildlife refuge & am very nearby the arboretum) Oh -and welcome to GT!

Leann and Arlo have both gone to the bridge in the last few weeks. Leann, as some of you here may remember, was a sweet little brindle girl who spent a long time with our group, looking for her forever home. She was only there about 6 months. Slipped her collar & was hit by a car a few weeks ago... she was such a doll - and so loved by her forever family... Arlo was a friends' black boy - very sweet. I would sing him Arlo Guthrie songs each time I saw him - and he was NOT impressed He stopped eating a week or more ago & no one could find what was wrong. He probably had a tumor in his spleen. He went to the bridge this past Thursday, at only 9 & a half. Run free, Leann & Arlo!

I thought I'd post a few days early about Cody's bridge anniversary. She left for the bridge two years ago this Friday (the date was actually the 28th...) Here are some pictures of my girl - as bossy as she was, I'm sure she's been greeting all the newcomers & pushing them - I mean SHOWING them - around! Her very favorite toy (which I still have...) A roach Close Up And humiliation! Thanks for looking... I miss you Cody girl!
