It's Cody's birthday - I'm sure she's having quite the party at the bridge - and eating all the things I never let her have! (OOPS! I put balloons... she was always afraid of balloons!!)

I'm glad you finally got your rainbow. My Cody took her time about the rainbow-sending too! But she waited till I was visiting my friend who had talked me into getting a grey in the first place, and she'd lost her grey only 3 months before I lost Cody - so they BOTH sent us both a rainbow together!! So sorry about your aunt. We're going through that with my mom's best friend (who has been like an aunt) right now.

That 1st picture has always made me laugh! I too remember when Sophia had to go... wasn't it her 12th birthday, too?

I'll try to stick one more funny one in here... at least I thought it was funny! Poor Cody had to put up with a lot since Halloween is my favorite holiday!! My angel landshark... And her with her very favorite toy - Tickle Me Elmo! (with the tickle box removed...)

My memory has gotten so wonky lately and I didn't want to FORGET to post this Friday, so I'm posting a bit early... It's been 18 months since Cody went to the bridge... I still miss her a lot but I also find I'm remembering her funny quirks more than her sad sick moments. I'll add a few pix tomorrow from work... don't have any small ones here and apparently I don't have any editing program on this computer either! (I'm SUCH a bad mommy!!) Cody OK - adding pic... I'm so sorry... we had an iguana as our family pet for 10 years when I was young (no dog or cat... just an iguana!) and we all loved him dearly. They really do have their own personalities...

Chrissy - it does get easier. I lost Cody a year & 4 months ago. I came on GT this morning & there was a picture of her up on the banner thing & I smiled!!! It just made me happy to see her up there for everyone to see!

Chrissy & Speck - just keep remembering how fun Gino was - that will help eventually. And - on a lighter note - I certainly hope Angel Gino has MORE TOYS at the bridge than he has in the first picture!!! Poor deprived boy.....

She was my first Secret Santa here on GT... she will be missed by all here. My condolences to Ken & the pups...

Yep - I think we all saw Calendar Girls for the greys!! (And I really liked the movie too!)

I''m so sorry for your loss of Hobbs - I can understand how you feel. We had an iguana (George, but known always as Ig - very original!) for 10 years as our family pet - I was 5 when we got him & he died at 10, when I was in high school. It's one of the few times I've seen my older brother cry... We all loved Ig and I know they have a lot of personality.
