Dang!!!! Glad he kept some food down. He tested negative for valley fever right? Shanti had a lot of stomach issues for a long time! We tried a ton of stuff, including prescription food. Her tummy settled down on kirklands lamb food from Costco. Go figure! Give our cousin a kiss for us. Guess weird illness is a family trait.

Shanti can peel the paint off the walls! We did give pepcid with previcox. Now she's on fluconazole and can't have pepcid. Smelly!

Lucy they have indoor grass squares. Maybe put it up only at night? They also make " diaper doublers". They hold a lot more and stay dryer than pads. I use to get them at Thriftys or Longs. Drugstore type place. If you can't find them let me know. I'll send you some. I'm sure they are still around. There is also a product called acid mantle. Worked wonders at restoring ph balance to skin. Another drugstore pharmacy item.

Poor baby can't catch a break!

Nala went to the vet today for a nail problem. She did something last night. Bled like crazy!!!!! I didn't want to do a evet run either. Bleeding stopped finally so I waited till today. She broke her nail off all the way back at the bone. They put her out, removed it, cleaned it and gave us antibiotics. Bandaged for 5 days. If you got the bleeding to stop, clean and wrap it. Not worth a evet.

I hate it when they are not right and you can't figure out why. . Give my favorite iggy (sorry puzzle, you won't come near me unless I have bell pepper) a big kiss from me!

I'm so pleased to say Nala has made huge improvements!!!! She is still lame, but I would say 75% better. Oh so thankful!!!!

She appears to be improving tonight! Keeping my fingers crossed we are on a healing path! She could get up on her own and get around. Lame, but able to gimp around. Yesterday and this morning she couldn't get up on her own. She could not gimp around yesterday.

She is doing better today. Not good yet. I will keep an eye on her. If she gets worse or does not do more improving, I will take her in Monday. The aspirin I gave her is ascription (I think thats the name) it has malox in it. This is what the vet recommended it before.

I know there is a 3 day wait after aspirin. I know I may restrict things by giving her stuff. But I was/am desperate. I'm on limited funds at the moment. I'm hoping it is a tweak from climbing out from under the boat and a little rest will give us improvement. She has not moved though. . She is not panting now. So that is better.

Can you give aspirin and tramadol together? Nala has done something and can barely walk. It appears to be her left front leg. I gave her an aspirin. One 325mg. Not sure it's doing anything. I want to give her a little time before a vet run. I hate it when they get old and stuff happens!!!

Shanti is on soloxine. Her thyroid tested at .02 on meds. I had a problem with her ummm attitude when she was on a generic thryrotab. Don't know why, but put her back on soloxine and it stopped. Maybe try a different brand?

Same problem here. Just don't let them lick your face. . Nala started it at age 9 after Kona died. Now she eats EVERYTHING! Hair, sheets, tp, etc.

No clue on this. I will think good healthy thoughts for Jabari. He will be ok. he has no options!

I am hoping to fill her without adding food. Since kona died she went a little wacky. She now eats just about anything she can get...sheets, toys, mail, etc. From the day we got her food has been a thing with her, but objects were safe. Not so much anymore!. Hopefully this will help. Thanks!

Can I add that to Nala's food? I know she was allowed the wafers. Is the powder ok? I have plain powdered benefiber.
