AnneJc
A scab or growth looking has been on my greyhound's belly for a few days now. It has a reddish ring around it. Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Houndtime
It one of those blood blisters. Some one will know the exact name. I would clean it off and let it be. Some dogs get them all the time. If you remove it, it may come back anyway. What I am saying, is, not to worry. Jerilyn
Wiki gets those. They tend to grow then fall off and then maybe grow back, or maybe not. My vet has looked at them and not been concerned. HeyRunDog
Guinness has just had one of those. It didn't worry him, he didn't lick it and it fell off after a couple of weeks Quote Grace (Ardera Coleen) b. 18 June 2014 - Gotcha Day 10 June 2018 - Going grey gracefullyGuinness (Antigua Rum) b. 3 September 2017 - Gotcha Day 18 March 2022 - A gentleman most of the time
tbhounds
Has the appearance of a hemangioma however, one can not blatantly claim that as it can be a less frequently seen dermal hemangiosarcoma. You can only diagnose via cytology or biopsy.
