Onions1996 Posted April 11, 2020 Share Posted April 11, 2020 I have recently fostered a second grey. My original boy has been growling and snarling at him. I thought it was because he was protective over his bed so removed the bed and gave them both 2 neutral beds and in the day the growling has mostly stopped, unless Titan (the new boy) is standing over him or sniffing around him. However at night time my original boy is growling and barking. Last night he did it a total of 5 times until I went down to separate them. There is no fighting involved and he does it even when Titan is fast asleep. It is not sleep startle as I have been watching. I thought maybe it is a bit of anxiety as the new boy is a bit bigger and is still intact. Any ideas on how I can resolve this? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not every greyhound gets along with every other every other dog, and this doesn't sound like a good fit to me. Probably because the other dog is still intact. See if you can trade for a nice sweet female, or a more laid back neutered male.
