XTRAWLD
First for me that I can recall. How long has orally been an option over injection? Do they have the same efficacy? Time4ANap
It's never been an injection for us in the 8 years we've had Rocket. it's always been a squirt up the nostrils. Edited to add - after reading the response below, I'm thinking that the last time Rocket had it they may have given him the oral one. We changed vets last year and I'm thinking that the new vet was using the oral one. Edited May 28, 2017 by Time4ANap Quote Camp Broodie. KF_in_Georgia
Ours has never been an needle/injection for bordatella. It used to be a nasal "snort," but for a year or more has been oral. I clearly remember one dog rearing back after getting a snootful of the vaccine and whacking her head on the metal exam table and making the table ring. I'm such a bad mom. I laughed at her. Next visit, we moved her out of table range. Quote Kathy and Q (CRT Qadeer from Fuzzy's Cannon and CRT Bonnie) and Jane (WW's Aunt Jane from Trent Lee and Aunt M); photos to come. XTRAWLD
Squirt in the mouth, not up the nose. Have never heard of either! Hubcitypam
I gave tons of internasal at the day care and was around 10 years ago. As far as effectiveness neither is that great; My vets have not been big fans.
