Guest ParamagicFF
Was wondering if anyone could provide insight on this situation. Every time we take Amber to the dog park, she almost immediately begins slobbering and drooling, and this continues the entire time we are there! At no other times does she ever drool or slobber. We have been to multiple dog parks, at times when they are full of dogs and when Amber is all alone. She even does it on cool days so I don't believe it is temperature related. Has anyone experienced this?
Time4ANap
Excitement and anticipation. Greyhounds can be drool machines when they are super excited or really, really happy. You should see our ceramic tile after we have a couple of greyhounds visit for a play date or to stay over. Quote Camp Broodie. The current home of Mark Kay Mark Jack and LaVida I've Got Life. greysmom
Yes. Excitement. Or it could also be anxiety. Does she *like* going to the dog park? NeedlenoseJake
Jake also becomes a drool machine at the dog park, but I think his is running related. Quote Photographer in Phoenix, AZ www.northmountainphoto.com
Guest ParamagicFF
Yes. Excitement. Or it could also be anxiety. Does she *like* going to the dog park? She seems to really enjoy the park. Sometimes she spends the whole time walking around sniffing and carefully observing the other dogs as they play. Other times she will find one that she likes and chase it while it chases a ball or something. She's even jumped in on a little friendly romping around with multiple dogs. I was hoping others would have had this experience in a positive way!
