Guest suzanne
My dog is going under tomorrow to have a suspected mast cell tumour removed As it is on the nose the vet tells me to expect a lot of blood! Anyone any ideas on things I should have at home? Good wishes also appreciated i hate my hounds having to go under.
macoduck
Suzanne, my Gracie had really no noticeable bleeding with her "nose job". Hope you have an easy day tomorrow. MaryJane
I hope the vet has ordered Amicar - it's to control bleeding which greyhounds are prone to. If the vet hasn't ordered it, there is still time - make sure he/she calls the prescription into a local pharmacy and hopefully they will have it in stock. Guest LazyBlaze
Good luck today with the surgery, hope it all goes smoothly and your pup feels well in no time. If the wound is not covered I always find it handy to have some Hibiscrub on hand to keep things clean if need be. And extra special treats and cuddles of course!
