Guest Scouts_mom
I've been thinking of your little girl all day. Was she at NW Vet. Specialists? I'm very glad she doesn't need surgery. I would recommend accupunture on top of what the vet recommended. It really helped my Tia when she had spinal trouble. The vet wanted to do surgery, but I couldn't afford it. With the accupunture she was able to walk pain free for another couple of years. We went to Two Rivers Vet Clinic in N/Ne Portland--they were wonderful. Teensy
Yeah, she saw Dr. Kroll at NW Vet. Specialists, whom everyone seems to agree is the best neuro guy in town. Two Rivers is really close by for us. We'll see what he recommends for rehab, and our vet, as well, but certainly accu seems particularly effective with both neurological problems, and inflammation so why not? Thanks! KF_in_Georgia
A friend whose dog had an FCE did hydrotherapy for her girl and said it was very helpful because Katie could exercise safely on a treadmill in water even when she couldn't walk well or keep her balance on her bad side. Teensy
Kathy, my neighbor takes her Berner, who had elbow surgery, to a place for hydrotherapy that she loves. I will certainly be looking into it. Thanks!
