RaineysMom
we had one in the park next to us a month or so ago. AC wouldn't get him, poor thing suffered for 3 days in the cold and snow (just lay there, couldn't walk or get up or anything, it was pitiful) before someone from the Park district got him. cleptogrey
westchester county, ny has the highest incidents of rabies! we also have a rise in lepto and distemper...makes one think twice about skipping precautions. but that's an individual/personal decision- don't wanna go there! skunks are out, racs are out, turkeys are sitting in trees, coyotes are feeding at the garbage cans....and i live 12 miles north of nyc! yup, people be careful no matter where you live!
