Guest Greyhoundartist
Hi- In June my senior boy "Perry" lost his front right leg to a Non-Sheath Sarcoma Tumor. He has done incredibly well thus far. Thank you to all for your good wishes and prayers. What I find amazing is just how much we can learn from these wonderful Souls. Perry's courage, determination and spirit make me thankful for each day we are given to share. Every Day is a Blessing. Wishing everyone good health and a wonderful New Year-Kevin Z. MP_the4pack
I'm so glad he's doing well. My Diamond was 2 weeks shy of her 12th birthday when she was diagnosed with OS. I did the amp of her front leg as well after OSU determined she was a very 'young' 12 yr old. She surprised everyone with how quickly she recovered. I had a good, happy, painfree 6 months with her before OS struck a back leg. I hope your boy has many more birthdays to celebrate.

My blog about grief The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same.
