Staples won't come out for another week and will stay bandaged to help support it and keep her leg straight so they won't tear out. Will have her rebandaged on Tuesday. My Evan had a tear in the same place, and his didn't heal that quickly (had to take him back to have re-stitched w/stents). I know you are relieved! Once, I came home from work... all six (at the time) were muzzled...BUT, Staggerlee had a HUGE gash on his side near his rib-cage???????? We NEVER found out what happened!
