Sully still has a big lump on his forhead and tongue still swollen. Apart from that he's his normal happy self! Chasing squirrels, running with walli. He did try and kill a stuffie but that seemed to hurt so he didn't last the usual 20 minutes!

Our vet phoned and both blood and poop tests came back negative with everything normal. She is as stumped as us and next option is an MRI at the vet university abour 1 hour from here. She is comming over tomorrow to discuss the options

We have been racking our brains over what could have caused this and put it down to 3 things

spring, something new is growing in the garden

Food - peanut butter allergy or some change in the formula of his food

The rose bush incident - something from the scratch or the bush or a bite is doing more damage than we thought

Does your vet have Sully on Prednisone and/or Benedryl?

Poor baby! It could be any of the three things you sited. I would guess, most likely, the rose bush thing.

Sending good luck, hugs and prayers!

He's on Prednisone, his tongue is comming down in size and the bump on his forhead doesn't look so bad.

Our vet was over today to discuss options and feels that there is something internally wrong with him in light of his re-reaction.

Next stop is vet college and the MRI and some other tests
