Guest charmsmom
Thanks, everyone, for all your kind words. We brought her ashes home and I'm just not quite sure what to do with them. DH doesn't want them to sit on the mantle, but I don't feel right burying them, either. Now what??

romansperson
Our pups' ashes are in urns, but not in a main living area so we don't see them all the time. So there are options. Just wait awhile and see how you feel ... I am so sorry you had to go through this so soon. Of course it's always too soon ... Godspeed Paris. Hawthorn
I'm a little late in the day but just wanted to add my condolences on your sudden loss of Paris. Re the ashes, just give it some time and you'll know what you want to do with them. Quote When a relationship of love is disrupted, the relationship does not cease. The love continues; therefore, the relationship continues. The work of grief is to reconcile and redeem life to a different love relationship. ~ W Scott Lineberry Always Greyhounds Home Boarding and Greyhounds With Love House Sitting
