RobinM
It was red, but not bright, bright red. not digested, that's for sure . . . . . . Generally, red blood means it's probably from straining. A capilary will burst and there's the blood. When the blood is darker, is generally a GI bleed. Obviously, no blood is better than blood, but if it's red, it's prob from straining. MerlinsMum
Oh dear I'm just seeing this, sorry, I've been awol the last couple of days... Poor Soul, I hope the tiny drop of blood is not significant. Maybe you could call your vet in the morning and ask for advice? As long as nothing happens over the weekend... From now on, on weekends and on holidays, Soul is KNOT allowed to get sick. Hear that, sweetie? Quote Kerry with Lupin in beautiful coastal Maine. tbhounds
You might want to ask your vet if they carry the rxvitamin products. They make a product made to support the GI tract call NutraGest--my IBD boy takes it along with their NutraZyme and it really seems to help. Guest SoulsMom
He seemed ok when I left for work. No BM last night, but this morning he went and it looked blood free. But it was dark, and I was inspecting it with a flashlight. He was his typical, happy goofy self last night
