ShantisMom
I LOVE seeing happy post in H&M It is why I posted it. We all need some good stuff now and then! Fantastic. I assume she's less unhappy and snappy now. She must have been really sore and uncomfortable. Much happier. I only got bit 2x. I was just stupid and trusting the second time. She will let me mess with it now. Especially with all the hair coming back, it is protected. Does this mean she gets her new chair? yeh...does it? Think now before you answer cuz I'm going to call Hilda Um, not yet. But she will. I have to choose wisely due to her. No strappy ones. Only sturdy ones. Jenny, you have no idea how much that makes my heart happy I'm so glad for you. We'll beat Valley Fever together! YES WE WILL!!!!!! It makes me happy too. You know how rough a road we have been on. Guest das1075
Next battle to win, Valley Fever. Oh Boy! Do you our your girl have Valley Fever? My DBF worked in AZ on an internship from March to June. He was supposed to be there until mid-August but he had to leave the job early bc he caught Valley Fever. That was so scary. I had went out there to visit him and he was sleeping all of the time, he had the ridiculous rash. When he went to the doctors they told him it could be lymphoma or maybe valley fever. Which scared the $!&@ out of us. I never though I'd be thankful he had a fungal infection. But he's doing much better now, he still gets tired pretty easily. Good luck! They thought it was cancer too as she had been tested prior for VF and it was negative. I guess it likes to hide. Quote The Girls
Guest greytloves
Wow! That looks spectacular! On the funny side, she kind of has a poodle tail, now doesn't she? One hairy ball on the end? Cute! By the way, what bandaging or topical treatment do you think worked the best for her? I remember lots of ideas and suggestions. Just curious what worked the best. I would clean it with some blue solution my friend brought me from her animal hospital. Can't remember the name of it. Then we used Silvadene cream. Nonstick pads, taped to secure with sensitive tape. Some "cast padding" gauze wrapped over the pads and secured with tape. Then we vet wrapped (or fire department wrap) and taped the ends with athletic tape. Then I sprayed it with YUCK. A few times the whole wrap slipped off like a cast. It worked well. I keep looking at the before and after pictures and am amazed! Quote The Girls
Guest greytloves
Ok, I am ready to admit this. I've kept quiet now for quite awhile. two weeks ago, I shut my boys tail in the door. There it is out. I looked back at your thread and did do the water therapy, non stick pads and all that. I did not have Silvadene cream. Where did you get it? by the way, it was horrible. The very tip of his white tail had a long gash on it. Which he proceeds to whip on every wall and spray blood everywhere. I about fainted! Lucky, he still loves me. Bet you don't do that again. The cream came from the vets. I think it is prescription. Quote The Girls
